ACEC/MA Announces Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) as a 2021 Engineering Silver Excellence Award Winner

MILLBURY, Mass. - Jan. 14, 2022 - PRLog -- The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) has named Greenman-Pedersen, Inc (GPI) as a 2021 Silver Engineering Excellence Award winner for their work on the Route 146 Interchange Reconstruction project in Millbury, Massachusetts.

The interchange reconstruction of Route 146 at West Main Street was a complex project that implemented innovative solutions to satisfy the project need as identified by both MassDOT and the public. A great deal of public interest and a clear sense of concern with the appropriateness and effectiveness of the roundabouts were raised. With construction complete and the efficient and safe operations evident at the roundabouts, the true success of this project is measured by the trust earned by the engineering community.

The 2021 Engineering Excellence Awards were recently announced and will be celebrated at the virtual ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence and Awards Gala. The awards celebrate innovation, ingenuity, and excellence in engineering achievement.
