In 1625 AD, the Dutch named a new territory in the Americas as New Amsterdam, but after King Charles II granted the territory as the property of James Stuart as the Duke of York. The city was given the new name New York. As this city's inhabitants grew in population the more it became popular for its corrupt, and wicked behaviors. A new era of conflict, and violence say's the U.N. The year of 2021 was the worst year for deaths by criminal acts. The Washington Post reported over 8,000 people died from criminal acts during five months of the year within the United States. Many people are buying more guns than ever with crime rising up to 97 percent according to the news outlet. The consumer spending on firearms in the United States surged to 25,125,896 according to 24/7 Wall Street.
