Atheists Helping the Homeless DC is Recruiting Blog Writers

GERMANTOWN, Md. - Feb. 27, 2022 - PRLog -- The AHHDC is a group of atheist volunteers, but they cannot be just atheists. They are citizens. They are integral parts of our society and are proud to be your family, your friends, and your neighbors, and they want to help the community. They want to give, to learn, and to receive. They believe in basic human goodness.

The AHHDC distributes small hygiene items to those who cannot carry regular-sized items everywhere they go. The items are for people living on the street, out of a tent or car, in a shelter, or even couch surfing. In the past the AHHDC has distributed:

• Paper showers/full body wipes
• Gloves (in winter)
• Safety Razors with shaving cream
• Shampoo
• Soap
• Socks
