WANTAGH, N.Y. - April 26, 2022 - PRLog -- Leading patient safety advocacy and education group Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy is pleased to announce the accession of four new members to its governing Board.

Pulse president Ilene Corina says, "Our new Board members all have long involvement in various aspects of patient advocacy, business and nonprofit work, and will bring their fresh perspectives to guiding Pulse's long-term future. We are delighted that they have offered to share their expertise with us as we expand Pulse's services.

The new members are:

Susan Capurso is an End-of-Life Doula, Legacy Specialist, consultant and author of Remember Me - The Story of My Life; Before You Go; and her latest publication, Coming Full Circle – When the Diagnosis is Terminal.  Susan serves on several Patient Advocacy Councils on Long Island and is an Adjunct Professor with Stony Brook in providing CE credits to social workers through various workshops. Susan is on the board of the National Aging in Place Council and gives back to Long Island communities through workshop presentations at assisted living facilities, over-55 communities and private events and venues. Susan volunteers for East End Hospice in Westhampton.

Norman Wasserman, president of Friend Entertainment USA, formed his fundraising company in 1987. He has worked with various groups to assist in presenting fundraising opportunities for their organizations, and reviewed the step-by-step processes that these various groups followed to present a successful fundraising activity. His work experiences encompass: inside/outside sales, sales training, team building, telemarketing, fundraising, advertising, B2B selling, contract negotiations, recruiting, policy and procedures, networking, public speaking, and promotion/production of entertainment events. Norman has specialized skills in selling, marketing, public speaking, branding, sales training, event planning, and management.

Kathy Casale is a passionate marketing professional who has worked in a variety of industries including deregulated energy, hospitality, industrial supply, events and insurance. Throughout the 30+ years of her career, Kathy has worn many hats from Sales Manager to Director of Marketing to Executive VP. She is presently the Chief Star Gazer for Sea Star Strategy, serving the complex traditional and digital marketing needs of emerging and established businesses.

Caryn Isaacs, BCPA, "finds ways for Aging Icons to continue their missions." Her clients are people who plan to live life to its fullest regardless of physical limitations. Caryn has over 40 years of experience helping people to navigate the health system. She has guided hundreds of professionals to focus their businesses on the future of the healthcare landscape. In 2008 Caryn limited her business to working with seniors. She is known for her work with people suffering from MS, Parkinson's and mental health disorders.
