ALPHARETTA, Ga. - May 3, 2022 - PRLog -- ATLANTA, GA – All For One Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the lives of children around the world by improving social conditions, educational opportunities, and healthcare availability, is proud to celebrate gifted teacher, Ayumi Bryan for her successful ongoing partnership with Midway Elementary School in Alpharetta, Georgia and All For One Foundation supporting, Passports Around the World, a series of service-learning initiatives aimed to foster cross-cultural learning and develop relationships with children from other cultures.

"At AFO, we place a premium on intercultural competencies, both individual and collectively, as we work towards building a world without bias where all children of all cultures can thrive" says, Jeff Levitan, Founder of All For One Foundation.

'We are so proud of Ayumi and what she has accomplished with this wonderful program', he continues, "Passports Around The World is an example of the non-governmental and private sectors coming together in a new approach to cultural diversity." Ayumi herself, is a first-generation American. Her mother is from Japan, her father is from Iran and grew up in an environment that celebrated cultural diversity.

Ayumi explains the nexus of the program this way. "As a teacher it's my experience that project based leaning through authentic experiences create opportunities for a deeper learning experience for children." She continues "that during Covid, we found that the need for connection was a global desideratum. The Passports Program grew from our desire to offer authentic learning experiences and connection for all children."

The highly interactive program begins with a geography exchange where the children from one of AFO's partner organizations will share their country's flag, National flower, National bird, and other interesting details of life in their country. The students from the participating American elementary school are then excited to share their own experiences.

According to UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization a genuine acknowledgement of cultural diversity is essential to improving the lives of children globally.
