SANY America – May 31, 2022 – Doug Friesen Retires, Mengtao Xie Named New CEO

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - May 31, 2022 - PRLog -- For five years, Doug's leadership and experience has been the driving factor in making SANY America thrive. He realigned the internal business operations, developed SANY America's Dealer Partner network and drove SANY's brand awareness growth in the North American market. The SANY Team would like to thank Doug for his vision, dedication, leadership and mentoring while at SANY America and wish him well in his retirement.

SANY Global has named Mengtao Xie, who has been working at SANY America under Doug for the last five years, as the new CEO and Vice Chairman of SANY America. Mengtao joined SANY America in 2015 as Project Manager, and then later promoted to Senior Technical Manager, Chairman's Representative and the General Manager. Prior to joining SANY, Mengtao spent a significant amount of time in R&D in Materials Engineering and holds a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. Over the past five years, Mengtao has worked intimately with Doug in making critical decisions that have shaped SANY America's success today and has also played a key role in coordinating strategic efforts between SANY America and the SANY Global Corporate teams in China. His keen understanding of the intricate details of the business, in both North America and China, gives SANY great confidence that as CEO of SANY America he will continue to provide unique value to the organization and guide SANY America into its next phase of success.
