Otherwise Brewing selects Hillebrand for last-mile fulfillment in Northern California

SAN FRANCISCO - June 13, 2022 - PRLog -- Responding to strong demand for its gluten-free beers, Otherwise Brewing has engaged Hillebrand's last-mile alcohol delivery service to fulfill wholesale orders in Northern California.

"Demand was outstripping our capacity to do deliveries ourselves, so we were looking for a last-mile partner," said Otherwise CEO and co-founder Aaron Gervais. "We went with Hillebrand because of their strong reputation, extensive network, and reasonable pricing."

Starting in June, orders for Otherwise beers within the San Francisco Bay Area are being fulfilled by Hillebrand, although the brewery still maintains control over its own sales and distribution. This allows Otherwise to ensure quality by focusing on the customer experience.

"We're a small team, so outsourcing the delivery piece of the puzzle to a reputable third party like Hillebrand allows us to concentrate on growing the brand intelligently," explained Gervais.

With internal capacity newly freed up by Hillebrand, the Otherwise team is redoubling its efforts in sales and brand awareness, spearheaded by co-founder and Head of Sales Stellar Cassidy. "The biggest issue is simply that many consumers still don't know that they have gluten-free options. We're seeing huge demand from our accounts, and we want to continue expanding the range of buying options for our customers," explained Cassidy.
