Manager of Staff Development - Clinical Resource

SHAWNEE, Kan. - June 29, 2022 - PRLog -- Angela Hunner-Davis has accepted the position of Manager of Staff Development – Clinical Resource. Her experience includes more than 15 years of hospice and palliative care. Hunner-Davis has been the Director of Clinical Services for Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care (KPHC) and Missouri Palliative & Hospice Care (MPHC) including the Northwest office since 2020 where she has led the offices' interdisciplinary teams to meet the needs of the growing senior population. Hunner-Davis has held leading clinical roles within the organization since 2014.

As the Manager of Staff Development – Clinical Resource, Hunner-Davis will be responsible for ensuring agency staff and managers are meeting defined accreditation standards, implementing defined clinical programs, and measuring quality metrics as defined by CMS, Medicare Administrative Contractor, state, or the agency. Her responsibility will include oversight of the quality improvement program, implementation of accrediting body standards for ongoing survey readiness, management of electronic medical record program, maintenance of the skin care wound management program. Hunner-Davis will also assist the organization to implement new initiatives through operational support of the management teams of each agency.

Hunner-Davis holds a Master of Science degree in hospice and palliative care from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Pharmacy, where she also received graduate certificates in Principles and Practice of Hospice and Palliative Care and Clinical Aspects of Hospice and Palliative Care. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kaplan University.
