WHY: Justice for Emmett Till has been on hold for 67 years since the 14-year-old's lynching sparked the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Carolyn Bryant Donham, who is alive and evading accountability, incited Till's murder but was never indicted by the Mississippi District Attorney, Dewayne Richardson and the state's Grand Jury. Overwhelming evidence that spans decades show this miscarriage of justice is long overdue for redress.

OTHER DETAILS: Youth will begin rallying around 4:00 P.M. The organizers, in collaboration with the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation, will take questions from the press.

Please note, organizers will be wearing black #Justice for Emmett Till shirts the day of the protest.

*Attendees are invited to wear the colors black and white in remembrance of Emmett Till.
Remember Emmett Till, say his name and say the names of all of those whose lives have been stolen.
