The Women of Courage Awards Gala and fundraiser will celebrate 18 remarkable women who have demonstrated the ability to transform tragedy into "a lasting legacy of courage and hope" and inspire others through their extraordinary actions.

WASHINGTON - Feb. 3, 2025 - PRLog -- The Gala Chair is April Ellington, co-founder of the Savoy Ellingtons, vocalist, philanthropist and freedom fighter for social justice and civil rights. Honorary Co-Chairs are Lonnie G. Bunch III, an educator, historian and Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, William Cohen, attorney and former Secretary of Defense and Janet Langhart Cohen, award winning journalist, author, playwright and social justice activist.

When: Sunday, March 30, 2025  6:00 p.m.

Event Host: Sara Sidner, CNN Co-Anchor of CNN News Central, and is also CNN's multiple award-winning senior national correspondent.
