The festival will feature art from renowned artists from all across USA and is the largest and oldest festival of Islamic arts in the USA.
Islamic Arts Society aims to share the rich heritage of Islamic Arts. The society organizes events to celebrate Islamic culture and promote the positive image of Muslim community amongst the community at large. Art is a common language and binds diverse communities. By promoting Islamic arts, we hope to promote mutual understanding and to bring the broader American community together.
In an effort to build bridges between communities we organize art events in libraries and museums, host Islamic art education days as well as lectures and classes in schools and colleges. Our main event is the annual Islamic Arts Festival which is has been held annually since 2014 and even during Covid-19 when we took the festival online. The festival brings people of all ages, ethnicities and faiths for a weekend of fun, festivity and learning.
During the two-day festival, visitors will have the opportunity to see the work of artists who will be available in person. They will be able to browse through our festival hall while observing Covid-19 precautions, take part in interactive art sessions, learn about Islamic art and culture, as well as enjoy ethnic cuisine from food trucks. In addition, there will be live demonstration on calligraphy, henna tattoo, Ebru, painting, Arabesque pattern coloring and lots of children's art activities.
