Jacksonville Children's Chorus Wins The American Prize

 
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sept. 23, 2022 - PRLog -- The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts, Maestro David Volosin Katz announced on Thursday, September 22nd the National winning choruses in all categories. Darren Dailey, President & Artistic Director, and the Jacksonville Children's Chorus is named the winner of The American Prize for Choral Performance in the youth/school division of 2022!

Founded in 2009, The American Prize is a series of annual prestigious national competitions that evaluate and recognize the best in performing arts across the United States. The evaluations are based solely on submitted recorded performances. Katz, founder and chief judge of The American Prize is joined by a panel of distinguished judges who represent every region of the country and include professional, community, and faith-based musicians and educators.

President & Artistic Director, Darren Dailey has led the Jacksonville Children's Chorus to award-winning performances since 2006. ​​"I am very proud of our singers, and the JCC staff who support and instruct them. It is also important to recognize the local music educators who have taken the time to prepare their singers to audition for us," says Dailey. "This is truly a community success!"
