Arana Software Annouces Clarkson Speaker

Oct. 3, 2022 - PRLog -- Arana Software announces founder Jay Harris will be presenting his talk "Conviction" as part of Clarkson University's Knight Class series Wednesday, October 12th, 2022. This is the third invitation Mr. Harris has accepted to speak at his alma mater.

Knight Class is a series of professional development workshops with a focus on topics beneficial to life after graduation that are not covered in the classroom. 2022 marks the sixth year that Clarkson University is providing these workshops to students. Knight Class is intended for the entire student body, which includes The Clarkson School, Undergraduates, and Masters students. All workshops are alumni-led and are a great way to show students the importance of giving back.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" is the question Jay Harris explores in Conviction. If you pursue your passions as a career, you will be celebrated, as it is the gateway to happiness.

Erica Richards, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Clarkson University said, "I met Jay Harris '01 through a Clarkson story collecting initiative as he submitted a piece about his time at Clarkson. His story gave us the indication that he may be interested in being involved further with Clarkson, so I reached out and asked him if he would be willing to be a Knight Class presenter during our Spring workshops, to which he quickly replied and agreed to give his time to the students through this program. The Knight Class program is aimed toward all grade levels and focuses on "soft skills" that are not learned in the classroom but are immensely important to life after Clarkson. Knight Class seemed like a perfect fit for Jay to share his experiences with the students and give back to them through this professional development program. We are looking forward to Jay's workshop titled, "Conviction."
