CEE Hosts College & Career Panel

MCLEAN, Va. - Oct. 3, 2022 - PRLog -- The Center for Excellence in Education's (CEE) Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) presented a "College & Career Panel," a cost-free webinar that illustrates the interdisciplinary nature of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and the real-world applications of STEM skills. Learn about the many job and career opportunities in STEM. This virtual program took place on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, 5:00-6:15 p.m. ET via Zoom.

Distinguished speakers:

Brian A. Bucklew, Student Program Advisor for Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College. His responsibilities include the Early Entrance students at six high schools. Brian received a BA in Technical Writing from West Virginia State University, and he is currently working on an MA in Literature.

Andrew Meyers, Geographic Information System Supervisor - Data Integrity with Equitrans Midstream, an American energy company engaged in the pipeline transportation of natural gas and natural gas liquids. Andrew was born and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and he received a BS in Geography at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.

Moderator:

The distinguished speakers were introduced by Travis Williams, manager of CEE's Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP). He recently served as a continuous improvement coach at Spartansburg School District 7 in Spartansburg, South Carolina, and served as a science teacher in Arlington, Virginia. Travis earned a bachelor's degree in science teacher education and an MS degree in educational leadership and administration from Western Governors University.
