Follow on Google News | First Coast Cultural Center Holiday Shoppes updates with Santa, vendors, and sponsors, Dec. 2First Coast Cultural Center's 32nd Annual Holiday Shoppes will feature breakfast and crafts with Santa on Saturday, December 3 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. prior to the public Holiday Shoppes opening on Friday, December 2.
By: First Coast Cultural Center The Cultural Center's Holiday Shoppes is renowned as one of the nonprofit's key fundraisers and features local and national vendors, merchandise for purchase, and gourmet food items, among others pertaining to the holidays and year-round festivities. Vendors this year include Charleston Shoe Company, Short Dog Jewelry, Peruvian Accent, Staci Doucett Photography, Jackie's Jewels, Old Colony Woodworks, Cheryl's Creations, Coastal Creations, First Coast Cultural Center Christmas Booth, Marti Rosenburgh Designs, Kona Ice, Lucie-Lou, Amanda Moon Art, Belicatessen, and Callie's Collection. Local sponsors contributing to the events are Joe Bryant, Hyundai of St. Augustine, Historic Coast Culture and a St. John's County Tourist Development Council grant, A Way of Life Acupuncture, Lynda Follenwieder, Pawsitive Healing, and Language Exploration Enrichment. Additionally, a world photo premiere, "The Eyes are the Window to the Soul" and photo artist Paula Veloso from Portugal will exhibit her work on Friday, December 2 until Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. The exhibit will move from the Concert Hall and continue to be displayed until Thursday, December 22 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at First Coast Cultural Center, 3972 3rd St. South in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. The Shoppes event and art exhibit are open to the public. Guests can donate $10 per person to help the nonprofit with costs.
