2027 Will See the End of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Cars and Trucks

Governments are passing laws ending the manufacture of cars and trucks powered by fossil fuels after 2035. These efforts are unnecessary. Manufacturers are resisting the move to electric vehicles, but agree the end of the ICE age is near.

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 11, 2022 - PRLog -- Elon Musk had a vision. He believed if an automaker would make a compelling electric car at a compelling price, the world would beat a path to their door. In the 11 years since he introduced the Model S, the proof is in. The number one selling car in CA is a Tesla. In 2023 the number one selling car in the world will be the Model Y.

Musk also believed that if he could make that compelling car, the entire industry would be forced to switch. With rare exceptions, the auto giants have announced dates when they will be 100% electric.

What is now obvious is that it is possible to build a BEV that is better in every way than cars propelled by gasoline. Motors are quicker and faster than engines. BEV's have far fewer moving parts, therefore almost no service needs. And BEV's cost 80% less than petrol cars for fuel. By 2025 electric cars will also have lower sticker prices for equivalent features. Consumers will no longer have any interest in ICE cars.

How will those huge companies make the switch so fast? There will be a shift in the list of top players in the auto and truck space. Some will disappear. But in their new book, Randy Kirk and Lars Strandridder lay out the specifics of that transition.
