These efforts are unnecessary. Manufacturers are resisting the move to electric vehicles, but agree the end of the ICE age is near.

With rare exceptions, the auto giants have announced dates when they will be 100% electric. What is now obvious is that it is possible to build a BEV that is better in every way than cars propelled by gasoline. Motors are quicker and faster than engines. BEV's have far fewer moving parts, therefore almost no service needs. And BEV's cost 80% less than petrol cars for fuel. By 2025 electric cars will also have lower sticker prices for equivalent features. Consumers will no longer have any interest in ICE cars. How will those huge companies make the switch so fast?
