DCM Capital Names Dustin Mitchell as CEO

DALLAS, TX. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Amid signs that the U.S. venture capital (VC) ecosystem is showing increased distress in response to ongoing economic headwinds, DCM Capital today announced that its longtime board member, Dustin Mitchell, has been renamed President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the corporation.

Dustin Mitchell brings more than 25 years of experience in the network marketing industry, including more than 20 years where he built his own direct sales businesses from initiation to being a multi-million dollar earning partner and then served as an executive with numerous multi-level marketing companies in the United States and one abroad.

More recently, he was executive partner at HRA Co., Inc., a real estate acquisition, development, and repurposing company based in Dallas, Texas. In addition, DCM announced its intent to refocus private equity and venture capital funding on the Dallas metroplex markets. As part of this restructuring DCM Capital has acquired HRA's real estate division.

Dustin Mitchell has more than 25 years of entrepreneurship, deal making, commercialization and people leadership experience on a global scale. Most recently, he was executive partner at HRA, a builder of breakthrough real estate and hospitality companies. From 2010 to mid-2014 he served as CEO of Assurance Inc., which he founded. Over the course of his career, Dustin led the development and commercialization of over 10 new successful global entities, including major corporations such as Assurance Inc. Mr. Mitchell holds a B.S. Degree in Business from Washington State University and a M.A. in Jewish Philosophy from Bar-Ilan University.
