A shift in weather patterns caused many to adapt to a warmer environment. According to ancient ledgers cotton started to be weaved, and cultivated in the eastern hemisphere since 2500 B.C. An educational institution called Science Line of UCSB data research has concluded that cotton has a cooling wet effect on the skin. The cotton gin of 1793 became a success in the industry. The World Counts Organization reports that 27 million tons of cotton are used every year, but the Cotton Corporation data statistics recorded that over 60 percent of womens' clothing items contain cotton. So the production of cotton from the farming to the stores became very important as the global climate continued to grow warmer. As reported by Shawn Baldwin of CNBC, cotton production is on the decline, because of extreme drought, and the increased use of other fabrics. In the fashion industry mainly in entertainment ; many are choosing man made synthetic fibers. But a new clothing brand has been launched by a band called Dashade Music.
