PRLog -- The long-awaited Islamic Arts Festival is finally here. It's this weekend, the 10th & 11th of December, from 10.30 AM till 5.00 PM. At 16700 Old Louetta Rd., Houston (Spring). TX 77379. There are no tickets and entry is free. Free parking, easy access from the highway There will be thousands of art pieces under one roof. It is the largest festival of Islamic Arts in America. Over 50 artists are expected to display their art. There will be Live art demonstrations. Internationally renowned calligrapher Josh Berer will be the guest artist. There will be paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, woodwork, henna, Ebru and other forms of Islamic art, and this year there will be a Nasheed event for the first time. Lots of children's art activities are planned and this year both Museum of Fine Arts and the Texas Asia Society will partner in the Children's art section. Ethnic Food Trucks are also available The festival is expected to attract over 6000 visitors over two days. The festival brings people of all ages, ethnicities, and faiths for a weekend of fun, festivity, and learning.
