The Al-Firdaus Ensemble will perform at the Islamic Arts Festival in Houston

HOUSTON - Sept. 2, 2024 - PRLog -- The festival will feature a memorable musical performance by the Al-Firdaus Ensemble from Spain and a comedy night with Preacher Moss, the "OG of Muslim Comedy. "

The festival will be held at the University of Houston on November 9th & 10th, 2024. The entertainment program is set for the evening of the November 9^th. The combined music and comedy program will be ticketed at $15 per person and is sure to entertain the young and the old.

The world-famous Al Firdaus Ensemble is a Sufi musical group based in Granada, Spain. Founded in 2012 by the English singer Ali Keeler, the ensemble consists of musicians from England, Spain, Morocco, and Venezuela. They present the poetry of the well-known Sufis of Al-Andalus and the Arab world.

Acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer Preacher Moss will be the opening act of this entertainment night. He is best known as one-third of the comedy trio Allah Made Me Funny. He will be accompanied by leading comedienne Sabeen Sadiq and Moses, the Comedian of "Let My People Laugh" fame.

The two-day festival is the largest and oldest festival of Islamic arts in the USA and is expected to attract visitors and artists from all over the country.

Islamic Arts Society aims to share the rich heritage of Islamic Arts. The society organizes art events, lectures, and workshops to celebrate Islamic culture and promote the positive image of the Muslim community. Art is a common language and binds diverse communities.
