Philly actor Nakia Dillard segues into new territory as director of The Green Squad TV Show

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Dec. 9, 2022 - PRLog -- Philadelphia actor and director Nakia Dillard will soon try his hand at something new: a vegan TV program, produced through PhillyCam, a Philadelphia-based public television network. "The Green Squad" will feature Philadelphia's own Vegan Chef KESS, noted for his tasty cuisine and his popular vegan sauce. Each segment will feature a panel of carnivores as they compare traditional foods and vegan cuisine.

Dillard, who can currently be seen in his recurring role on ABC's The Wonder Years, says the vegan tv show helps him to maintain focus on his physicality while practicing his craft.

"While not vegan per se, I enjoy a great meal and Chef KESS' crabcakes are amazing! I'm also reminded that, however busy I might be, I need to care for my physical well being."

In addition to his acting and directing, Dillard is also the CEO of the popular Philadelphia arts school Aikan Performing Acts, which 'enriches, inspires and transforms lives through performing arts education.' Classes are offered to all age groups and levels of experience.

The Green Squad tv show will go live on January 5^th, 2023, at 7pm EST. It will be seen on the PhillyCam network, offered through Roku, as well as Apple TV, Fios TV 29/30, and Xfinity 66/966HD.
