DJ Miles Morales reaches international status with performance at Fiesta de la Ecuador

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - June 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Award-winning film director Koran Dunbar of Greencastle, PA, has just accomplished another major feat by performing as his alter ego, DJ Miles Morales, at the 2024 Fiesta de la Ecuador. The festival is visited by tens of thousands annually.

As the popular DJ, Miles Morales, Dunbar takes his audience on a musical journey, complementing eclectic styles such as Afrobeats with hip hop, jazz, blues (and even a country tune or two), enticing his audience on the dance floor.

As a child, Dunbar was influenced by his grandmother, who would share her love of music with anyone who dared to listen. Dunbar listened. And today, his share of musical genres is nothing short of fascinating to his audiences.

"I didn't know the impact it [music] was having on me at the time," he says, "But as an adult, it absolutely shaped the creative I've grown to become. It still shapes me."

That "creative" is an actor-comedian-award-winning filmmaker-and writer, as well as a husband and father.

"My music is a reflection of, not just my life and times, but the life and times of so many others – the audience -- because music is universal. It's why I don't do much talking; the music speaks for itself."

And that it does. Miles Morales brings an experience to his craft unlike other DJs in the industry.
