From police officer to attorney, Brian Clancy shares his story

FORKED RIVER, N.J. - Dec. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- After 25 years of law enforcement experience as a police officer with the City of Elizabeth, Brian Clancy decided to use his experience in a new way – as an Associate Attorney for Forked River-based Dasti & Associates, P.C.

A resident of Lacey Township, Clancy joined the firm in 2021. "I believe my experiences as a police officer equipped me with a unique skill set that has proven invaluable to me as an attorney," he said.

Clancy has been fortunate to participate in several unique and interesting cases since joining the firm, which has allowed him to greatly expand his practice areas.

"I gained valuable trial experience and I regularly appear in hearings before local government boards," Clancy said. "Connecting with clients to help find a resolution suitable to their particular needs and expectations is very rewarding."

Clancy's primary practice areas are municipal government law; municipal court matters including DWI, traffic and criminal cases; land use matters; employment and labor law; workers compensation and personal injury; estate planning and administration; real estate transactions, and landlord tenant matters.

Looking to the future, Clancy says, "The positive feedback I've received from our clients encourages me to continue contributing to the firm's reputation for providing quality legal services for our clients with a personal touch."

Clancy graduated from Rutgers Law School (Juris Doctor, 2019). He later received his Bar Admissions to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, as well as the State of New Jersey in the same year. He is a member of the Ocean County Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association.
