The word 'hybrid' means blending two different things. We often use the word hybrid to describe a product made from 2 or more things. For example, a plumcot fruit is a hybrid fruit of plums and apricots, if we call a car a hybrid model that means the car can be used manually as well as in technological functions simultaneously.
What does "Hybrid Working" mean?
Hybrid work style is a mixture of remote working and working from the office. Nowadays, companies have adopted the hybrid working style as a permanent approach to office work. But hybrid working differs from company to company as per the requirements of the business. There are various approaches to Hybrid working.

Corporations adopt different approaches to get their strewn employees to follow hybrid working. A few hybrid models are listed below:
Hybrid working in Shifts
This method is suitable for departments, employees belonging to the same department can take their shifts of work from home or work in the office as per the roster. This enables the company to have all departments in the office daily. Which means if there are ten folks in the IT department of a company, the employees follow a scheduled roster of 5 employees working from the office for week 1, and the other 5 working in the office for week 2, and vice versa as per the sequence. In such a way, the corporates benefit by maintaining control over every employee.
Back to Office Hybrid Model
Most employers have announced a mandatory return to the office for their staff. This means they work from the office 3-4 days a week, as a circulation by the HR. In these cases, the corporates follow hybrid working but at a minimal scale and leave no choice in the hands of the employees.

Team Wise Hybrid Working
Many corporates adopt this method, where they evaluate the importance of departments crucial for the growth of the business. These crucial teams are often called to the office daily since they are vital for the survival of the business. Teams like Infra management, IT, Admin, and Sales are usually crucial for the company's growth, other departments like HR, Legal, and Marketing can perform their activities from home too. The crucial teams do not follow any hybrid work pattern and are bound to be in the office, non-crucial teams do follow a rotational hybrid work culture.
