JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dec. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- First Coast Cultural Center hosted the "Yoga and Manifesting Your Dreams Workshop" with Jacquelyn Autrey on December 18 at Pawsitive Healing Mobility Center in Jacksonville, Fla. Local women from beginning to advanced yoga enthusiasts participated in the fundraising event

According to visiting instructor Jacquelyn Autrey of The Yoga Experience in Flagstaff, Arizona, the workshop followed the Tibetan Buddhist tradition with a focus on manifesting one's dreams. "This was a delightful event about the ancient philosophy of yoga and karma," said Autrey, who was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fla. "Dr. Carla Rodrigues of Pawsitive Healing Mobility Center and a life coach, hosted us at her beautiful practice location in the historic neighborhood of San Marco. For two hours, the transformative asana class utilized the techniques of the 'five koshas' and a 2,000-year-old meditation called Tong Len, along with a special pranayama called the Tibetan 9 round breathing purification, among others," she said.

"The content of Jacquelyn's highly specialized and life-changing yogic practice is unique to our region with learning more about special lineages of Tibetan Buddhism and spiritual cultures," said Donna Guzzo, First Coast Cultural Center's President, and CEO. "The heartwarming activity supported First Coast Cultural Center's mission to create, understand, and experience the arts and a wide variety of humanities," she said. "We hope to welcome Jacquelyn back to the Cultural Center soon."
