Wreaths Across America Offers Matching Program for Old Saybrook

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. - Jan. 9, 2023 - PRLog -- Wreaths Across America is offering a special limited-time program through its sponsorship with the Old Saybrook Fire Department that allows buyers who purchase and sponsor one wreath for the 2023 National Wreaths Across America Day in Old Saybrook to sponsor another wreath for free.

In addition, the program generously allows those who purchase and sponsor two wreaths for the 2023 National Wreaths Across America Day in Old Saybrook to sponsor an additional three free wreaths as part of their order. This limited-time offer ends on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, so please act quickly to help Old Saybrook reach its goal of placing 800 remembrance wreaths in December 2023 at the graves of all our Old Saybrook veterans.

This past year, Old Saybrook participated in its first-ever National Wreaths Across America Day on December 17th when a group of more than 100 local volunteers placed wreaths to honor and remember veterans laid to rest at all of the town's cemeteries. The very successful event also included a special commemorative ceremony on the Town Green that included placing remembrance wreaths at the Veterans Monument to honor the fallen from all our nation's armed forces.

As part of the conclusion of Old Saybrook's 2022 Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers are needed on Saturday, January 21^st at 9 a.m. to help retire all the wreaths placed at veterans' gravesites in Old Saybrook.
