Hallyudorama is #13 in Feedspot's '80 Best Korean Drama Blogs and Websites'

ANGELES CITY, Philippines - Feb. 7, 2023 - PRLog -- Hallyudorama.com — Your Ultimate K-Drama Guide — is now number 13 in Feedspot.com's list of "80 Best Korean Drama Blogs and Websites."

"I personally give you a high-five and want to thank you for your contribution to this world. This is the most comprehensive list of Top 80 Korean Drama Blogs on the internet and I'm honored to have you as part of this!" Feedspot founder Anuj Agarwal said in an email to Hallyudorama.

Feedspot has 250,000 blogs and podcasts in its database. More than 120 million users have visited its lists, and it has sent more than 30 million users to publishers' websites.

Added to the Feedspot list in November 2022, Hallyudorama joined distinguished K-drama blogs including Dramabeans, My Korean Drama, Kdrama Kisses, HanCinema, MyDramaList, A Koala's Playground, The Fangirl Verdict, and Gia Allana, among other sites.

Feedspot ranks blogs, podcasts and influencers based on relevancy, freshness, social media numbers, domain authority, age, Alexa web traffic rank, and other parameters. "Industry blogs (those not favoring a specific brand) are given higher rank than blogs by individual brands (who often tend to promote their own products)," Feedspot said.

Philippine-based Hallyudorama (https://www.hallyudorama.com) features news and reviews for K-drama fans. It also covers fan meetings of popular K-drama stars and press launches of Korean dramas and movies. While focusing on Hallyu content, it also follows Japanese, Filipino, and Asian entertainment. It also produces a weekly online show called "Usapang Hallyu" ("Hallyu Talks") that reviews and recommends K-dramas and discusses other Hallyu-related topics.

Hallyudorama's name came from the word "Hallyu" or Korean wave and "dorama" or drama in Japanese. Created by television news workers Myla Torres and Hannah Petrache in 2008, the site started as a blog about popular Korean and Japanese dramas. It also featured Philippine adaptations of K-dramas.

After a six-year hiatus, Hallyudorama returned in June 2020 amid the lockdowns during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a time when people from all walks of life turned to K-dramas for entertainment as they endured the restrictions of the quarantines.

Hallyudorama's Twitter account, created in 2010, also came back to life. In July 2020, it set up its own Facebook page and its Instagram account. The following month, Hallyudorama also joined YouTube.

Today, Hallyudorama is also on TikTok, Google News, Flipboard, Plurk, and Spotify. What started as a blog about popular Korean and Japanese dramas has now evolved into a multimedia channel to cover topics that will surely bring out the fan in you.
