Rabbi David Rosen Joins CTI Global Advisory Board

NEW YORK - Feb. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Michael Landau, the founder and Chairman of CTI Global Ltd, has announced the appointment of Rabbi David Rosen, KSG, CBE, to CTI's Advisory Board. Rabbi Rosen brings to the Board a lifetime of service, both to his faith and to global ecumenical and humanitarian causes.

Born in England, the son of a renowned British rabbi, Rabbi Rosen is a former Chief Rabbi of Ireland and a past chairman of the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations. Now based in Jerusalem, he is the International Director of Interreligious Affairs of the American Jewish Committee and Director of its Heilbrunn Institute for International Interreligious Understanding. He is also a member of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel's Commission for Interreligious Dialogue, and serves on the Council of the Religious Institutions of the Holy Land. Among the many honors for his contributions to interfaith relations, Rabbi Rosen was made a Knight of the Order of St Gregory (KSG) by Pope Benedict XVI in 2005, and in 2010 he was appointed Commander of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.

Central to his role at CTI, Rabbi Rosen is deeply involved in the growing call for "algorethics" – the application of ethical practices to Artificial Intelligence. At a recent Vatican conference, attended by Pope Francis and prominent Christian, Jewish, and Islamic leaders, along with top executives from IBM, Microsoft and other tech giants, Rabbi Rosen was a signatory to the Rome Call for AI Ethics, which outlines principles in three areas of impact: Ethics, Education, and Rights.

Commenting on his appointment to the CTI Advisory Board, Rabbi Rosen said, "In the years ahead, the intersection of technology, data privacy, and medical ethics will figure ever more prominently in our daily lives.
