Salt Lake City Attorney Bret Evans Selected for Inclusion in Utah Business Magazine's 2023 40 Under 4

The awards are granted each year by Utah Business Magazine in recognition of professionals who have achieved success in their individual careers and are changing Utah's business landscape in major ways, and they are all under 40 years old. Evans will be honored at a celebratory luncheon on February 23rd at The Grand America Hotel.

Evans is a member of the firm's commercial litigation and bankruptcy practice groups. His practice is concentrated primarily in complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and creditor's rights. He has represented creditors and banks in fraud cases, replevin actions, receivership actions, and other claims. Bret has also assisted financial institutions with matters related to consumer financial services, including cases involving claims of wrongful foreclosure, alleged violations of the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and lien disputes.

Evans received his J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2014 and his B.A. from Brigham Young University in 2010. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and a Board Member of the LGBT & Allied Lawyers of Utah, a Board Member with the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center, and the Treasurer of the Utah Center for Legal Inclusion.
