CHICAGO - Feb. 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Chicago State University alumnae  Ebony Karim, Quintella Rodgers, and Swanzetta Lewis have joined forces to provide the solution to limited access to beauty products on college campuses with the launch of their Beauty Genie Beauty Vending Machines. These machines will give students access to popular beauty products without having to leave their campus. The Beauty Genie Vending Machines will begin with a soft launch in Summer 2023.

A call to action following the recent Crown Act, The Beauty Genie was created to bridge the gap between HBCU college students and the access they have to staple beauty products. With many of these institutions being placed in rural areas, these students are limited on the types of products they can receive. These innovative machines will give students access to items such as bonnets, gels, bundles, braiding hair, shampoos, conditioners, edge control, and more, without leaving campus.

As former HBCU students themselves, the founders understand the importance of having access to everyday items.

"We are addressing the lack of access to obtain quality hair care products for our brothers and sisters earning education in rural and PWI collegiate spaces."

The Beauty Genie machines will be available this Summer with beta tests at several notable HBCUs. Their official launch will take place during the Fall 23 semester.
