A Virginia based nonprofit organization is providing green jobs training to underserved communities

RICHMOND, Va. - March 1, 2023 - PRLog -- FLIPP Inc Becomes NABCEP Associate Registered Training Provider (ARTP), Paving the Way for Underserved Communities in Virginia

Dillwyn, VA - FLIPP Inc, a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing green jobs training to underserved communities in Virginia, has announced that it is now a NABCEP Associate Registered Training Provider (ARTP). This accomplishment makes FLIPP Inc the first Black/Female/Service-Connected Disabled Veteran & Formerly Incarcerated led organization in the state of Virginia to hold this distinction, and one of only three ARTPs in the entire state of Virginia.

NABCEP, or North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, is the most recognized and esteemed certification in the solar industry. Accreditation from NABCEP assures that a training provider offers high-quality instruction and training that meets industry standards. Only education credits earned from accredited institutions can be used to fulfill certification exam application requirements.

"This recognition affirms our commitment to providing high-quality green jobs training to underserved communities in Virginia, and it is a significant milestone for our organization."

As a NABCEP Associate Registered Training Provider, FLIPP Inc can now train and certify participant eligibility for the photovoltaic associate exam (PVA) and proctor PVA exams on-site. Additionally, transitioning military personnel and veterans are now able to seek GI Bill Reimbursement for FLIPP Inc's training programs.

FLIPP Inc's training programs include renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable workforce, and more. The organization partners with local businesses and government agencies to create job opportunities for its graduates. Through its training programs, FLIPP Inc aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the emerging green economy.
