MIAMI - March 30, 2023 - PRLog -- Global Haitian advocate Dr. Edvard St. Juste was recognized by his peers for being called to serve as an honored representative at the inaugural Haiti National Security and Economic Development Summit held at the Organization of American States (OAS) and Capitol Hill in February 2023. Organized by the advocacy entity, Haiti Pathway Forward, the "Haiti National Security and Economic Development Summit," is to be held as an annual multi-day think tank to leverage the Haitian diaspora as partners to address security and development concerns.

Dr. St. Juste says he is firm in his conviction to serve as the next President of Haiti. A native of Haiti, Dr. St. Juste maintains a working presence in both the US and Haiti. He is a highly accomplished businessman, educator, political activist, and founder of the international charitable organization the "Edvard St. Juste Sports Foundation," to revitalize sports and cultivate sustainable communities in Haiti by implementing cultural centers throughout his native country.

Dr. St. Juste says he was energized upon seeing the packed meeting rooms of February's Summit in D.C. that included high-ranking and powerful Stakeholders. Representatives in attendance included members of the US Department of State; The White House; Members of Congress; The US Senate; The Department of Defense; Inter-American Development Bank; World Bank IMF; Caricom; Organization of American States; United Nations and Retired General Fields, among others.

"It is time that our voices be heard, louder than ever before," says St. Juste. "I will vigorously fight to continually create opportunities for our people, our community and all friends of the Haitian culture and country."

The Summit was made possible by Haiti Pathway Forward, a non-political Haiti advocacy group that has proposed to Haitian stakeholders and to the United Nations Security Council Member States a roadmap to enable all concerned parties to work toward solving the multitude of crises afflicting Haiti and Haitians.
