Morgan State University and gener8tor join forces to empower collegiate innovators

BALTIMORE - March 31, 2023 - PRLog -- - gener8tor, a global venture firm and startup accelerator, is proud to sponsor Morgan Hacks, a hackathon hosted by Morgan State University on April 1 and 2, 2023. This event aims to encourage and support the next generation of innovative tech leaders and problem solvers in the social impact space. Claudius Taylor, director of the Social Impact: Justice Tech program, will serve as a judge for the competition and give a presentation on justice technology.

The gALPHA accelerator is a free, four-week venture creation sprint designed to help entrepreneurially minded students, community members and technologists create high-growth startups. gALPHA provides product ideas, mentorship and coaching to individuals or teams, then works with them one-on-one for one month to help them develop an innovative and marketable product or solution.

"We are thrilled to be a sponsor of Morgan Hacks and to work with Morgan State University to help support the next generation of innovative tech leaders," said Taylor. "We hope this competition will encourage participants to think about how technology can be used to address social justice issues and make a positive impact on our communities."

Morgan Hacks is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all majors. Participants will have the opportunity to work with mentors and attend workshops to help develop their ideas and create a prototype over the course of the two-day hackathon.
