"Woman in the Maze," Premiers in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - April 3, 2023 - PRLog -- Despite a rainstorm and heavy traffic on the 405 freeway, genre fans braved the elements to attend the highly-anticipated premiere of "Woman in the Maze" in Los Angeles. Fortunately, the film lived up to expectations and did not disappoint the dedicated audience.

From the moment the opening credits rolled to the thrilling climax, the audience was captivated by the story of Gabi Reynolds, portrayed by the talented Meredith VanCuyk (known for her role in "Thor: Love and Thunder"). The crowd was engaged throughout the film, reacting with oohs, aahs, gasps, and screams, fully immersing themselves in the wild ride.

The film revolves around Gabi, a real estate project manager who unwittingly rents a cursed, haunted house in the spooky town of Jerome, Arizona. As the story unfolds, the audience is introduced to various ghost stories that enhance the eerie atmosphere of the film. Gabi becomes trapped in the house and must find a way to break the curse to survive.

Joey Hawthorne (known for "Wild West Chronicles") co-stars as Owen Bannister, Gabi's potential partner and love interest, and real estate agent. The onscreen chemistry between Owen and Gabi is palpable, with an undercurrent of tension as the audience wonders if they will or won't get together. Despite Owen's attempts to save Gabi from the house, the curse proves to be too powerful for him to overcome.

Written by Scott Gore and Matt Midgette and directed by Mitesh Kumar Patel (director of "Instant Karma"), "Woman in the Maze" is an entertaining popcorn film that audiences are sure to love. Patel's goal was to create a movie that would be both thrilling and enjoyable, and judging by the enthusiastic response of the premiere crowd, he succeeded.
