"The Picasso of Thieves" Screening at Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale April 30th with Q&A

BOCA RATON, Fla., March 30, 2023 -- New Heat Media and TransMedia Group (https://www.transmediagroup.com/) to screen upcoming documentary film, The Picasso of Thieves, at Savor Theater in Fort Lauderdale April 30.

Following the screening is a Q&A with Joselito "Picasso" Vega, the mastermind behind this tell-all tale.

The film, produced in collaboration with TMGroup Productions, tells the story of an artful house painter who becomes adept at stealing art by Pablo Picasso, featuring Noah Charney, Professor Noah Charney, Pulitzer Finalist Best-Selling Author and Historian of Art Crime.

To fascinate the audience with the character in the film and his curious career choice, "Picasso" will present a view of "living life, fearlessly, your own way where no rules apply."

The form of the story is told through interviews with Jose, family members, a detective, plus archive footage and photos, supporting story B-Roll and animation. The interview with the detective educates on how difficult it is to have an entire career based on criminal actions without being caught. "That's why people idolize criminals as there is something thrilling about it."

Audience members can ask Jose if "There's an art to stealing a Picasso, let alone having an entire career doing it?"

Jose's interviews talk about more of his background, past and fascinations that lead us up to the moment he started his painting career, about his career with a detailed day in the life of how one of these crimes would happen.
