Safe Hands Animal Rescue Hosts Fur Ball 2023

MINNEAPOLIS - April 5, 2023 - PRLog -- Safe Hands Animal Rescue is excited to host its annual Fur Ball Gala on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Radisson Blu Mall of America. This year's event promised to be an unforgettable evening of fun and excitement, and will support Safe Hands' lifesaving animal rescue work. The event will feature live entertainment from a world-class string quartet and celebrity DJ, dinner and drinks, and live and silent auctions. Some of the fabulous items up for bid include a wine tour in California, a week-long stay at a ski-in ski-out cabin in Big Sky, and even a trip to Ireland.

Shelters in Kentucky are operating from a place of crisis. While shelter populations have increased to the breaking point, adoptions have decreased, leaving many animals with absolutely nowhere to go. Safe Hands is committed to doing everything we can to increase the support system for rural shelters here and intake as many animals as possible to avoid tragic stories and preventable euthanasias. That work takes many resources, which is one reason we're so excited about our gala this year!"

The Fur Ball Gala raises funds to support the mission of Safe Hands to rescue and rehome dogs and cats. There is currently a puppy crisis across the rural Southern United States. During the pandemic, an estimated 3 million fewer spays and neuter surgeries occurred across the country; as a result, the number of unwanted puppies being born has skyrocketed. The Fur Ball Gala will directly support Safe Hands' work on this issue, and our commitment to rescuing and rehoming homeless pets including the deluge of puppies in Kentucky for whom Safe Hands is the last option.
