Growing CCTEC Foundation Board Welcomes Two New Members

Uniquely experienced trustees commit to helping accomplish goals.

VINELAND, N.J. - April 12, 2023 - PRLog -- The fundraising body of the Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC) has announced the appointment of two new trustees. Sales executive Emil Luciano and 2020 CCTEC graduate Chloe Swift assumed their roles as the newest members of the CCTEC Foundation Board in January. These appointments are another step toward the board's 2023 goal of increasing the scholarships awarded and growing community awareness.

Mr Luciano is president and founder of Alante Business Solutions. With over 30 years of successful sales leadership experience, he's exceptionally skilled in building and sustaining effective partner relations. A lifelong Vineland resident, his two daughters are currently enrolled at CCTEC.

He said: "I'm honored and committed to helping raise awareness, create new partnerships and grow our fundraising so that we can increase the amount of scholarships given at graduation each year."

Ms Swift is a 2020 CCTEC graduate and proud alumni member of the Studio Production and Broadcasting program. After graduating from Montclair State University with a Television and Digital Media degree, she now works for the Daily Racing Form as an Associate Video Producer and is the co-founder of the CCTEC Alumni Association.

She said: "I joined the board to help build a better relationship between the alumni and CCTEC Foundation. I look forward to helping CCTEC students and Cumberland County in this role. I bring a sense of youthfulness as well as a direct alumni connection to the board."

Swift and Luciano are joining executive board and board members: Ronald Franceschini, Jr. (president), Charles Wettstein (vice president), Carol Musso (secretary), Ryan Feaster (treasurer), Luanne Allen, Ilia Garci, James Gruccio, Jr., Carlos Mercado, Jr., Robert Penza, Russell Swanson, and board of education liaisons, Christy DiLeonardo and Ernesto Ortiz.

Honoring John F. Scarpa's 10-year commitment of $1M, the CCTEC Foundation seeks to raise additional funding to invest in the future success of graduating students by granting scholarships to the most worthy recipients.

Ron Franceschini said: "In 2023, the Foundation will look to increase its community outreach and award over $50,000 in scholarships to members of the class of 2023, including the $10,000 John F. Scarpa Scholarship."
