Southern Ocean Chamber's Wedding Road Show Tour Shows 15 years of Success

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - April 24, 2023 - PRLog -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber's Wedding Road Show & Party Planning tour has been instrumental for catapulting and keeping the Long Beach Island Region as a top-of-mind celebration destination. Created in 2008, it has adapted to fit the changing needs of over a generation of decision makers who attended the self-guided tour or the virtual versions during the pandemic. Since its inception, the event brings an opportunity to showcase local experts and locations at no cost to residents and visitors. The impact continued to drive demand for more destination assets and services, as well as create business to business partnerships that grew into successful strategies.

The 2023 version proved popular once again, bringing hundreds of decision makers and their entourage to participate through a dedicated mobile platform to check in to showcases and tour only venues that included dozens of local experts. The attendees represented over 50 various hometown locations, from as far as Escondido California, Knoxville, Tennessee, Fairfax VA, Wilmington DE, Landsale  and Havertown Pa, Pearl River and Poughkeepsie New York. New Jersey supported the event statewide with large Ocean County attendance from Toms River, Brick, Point Pleasant, Forked River, Bayville, Stafford, Barnegat, Waretown, Tuckerton and LBI residents. Potential party planners also represented Hoboken, Evesham, Vincentown, Demarest, Cranford, Asbury, Randolph and Somerset to list a few.

As technology and digital platforms are continually changing, so is the industry outlook for destination celebration audience.  As the chamber's popular Wedding Road Show branding will very much be part of the future, they look forward to exploring new outreach that will continue to advance their destination and business community for years to come.
