Google's Bard and Microsoft's chatbot, powered by ChatGPT and linked into its Bing search engine, can engage in remarkably human-like exchanges with consumers. We challenged Microsoft and Google's respective programs to choose two stocks—one growth stock and one value stock—and see how they performed over a three-week period compared to one another and a human. Because we utilized the Investopedia stock market simulator, no real money was exchanged. Both products contain disclaimers, as do we, as neither was designed primarily to offer financial advice.
