'Tipsy Tea Party' offers relaxed afternoon of food and fun

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - May 3, 2023 - PRLog -- A rollicking Sunday afternoon is planned for Frankenmuth this May as the Bavarian Inn Restaurant (https://www.bavarianinn.com/) hosts its first-ever "Tipsy Tea Party."

The Restaurant's unique "Tipsy Tea Party" is a perfect chance to dress up and join friends for an afternoon of boozy teas, sweet and savory treats, and fashionable fun. It will be held on Sunday, May 21 starting at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The tasting menu includes broiled oysters with spinach and brown butter Hollandaise; chicken and pork pate en croute; stuffed Turkish figs with pomegranate arils; salmon mousse canapes; Greek pita spread; steak and blue cheese polenta bites with onion and roasted tomato jam; Caesar salad; tacos with a parmesan crisp shell; jarcuterie; mini cheesecakes and assorted meringue bites, lemon bars and brownie bites.

Along with the food, guests will sample from three alcoholic teas and one non-alcoholic tea available.

On the fashion side there will be contests for Best Dressed, Best Hat, and Best Bling with one lucky winner in each category receiving a prize. A photo area will be available to capture fun moments with friends.
