Ellen King Will Unveil SOAR Collection at Upcoming Solo Exhibition at The Artists Gallery LosAngeles

LOS ANGELES - May 5, 2023 - PRLog -- California-based artist Ellen King has announced her upcoming solo exhibition, titled SOAR, which will take place at TAG, The Artists Gallery in Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, starting May 31st and open until June 24th. The show will feature the Kings' stunning artwork from her SOAR collection or SOAR paintings, including the majestic swirl of crows' piece called "It's A Beautiful Day...White Bird." This is likely the last work in this series, so it is a must-see for art enthusiasts.

The opening and official reception for SOAR is Sat: June 3rd, 5 -9 pm. Art lovers can also visit on Sunday, June 11th, for an "Afternoon With The Artist" between 1 and 4 pm.

"It's A Beautiful Day…White Bird" is the title of one of King's beautiful creations. This 24 x 36" painting showcases the majestic swirl of amazingly agile crows. Their strength and vulnerability are displayed by using an assortment of gorgeous papers. Some are thick, shiny, and strong, others fragile and thin. King laid these over an oil-painted canvas that is also gently swirling. Those coming to King's solo show can view this gorgeous artwork.

"My Mirror Image," along with its detail, is another art piece that King will display at her solo exhibition. The painting is 12" x 9" with an oil-painted background on canvas. The handmade paper collage gives it texture and a sense of floating like feathers and air. The flower is small and hearty, like the little Kingfisher.

Among various other gorgeous art pieces, another piece to look out for at the show is the "Hail Hail The Gang's All Here." It is a stunning piece featuring cut or torn handmade paper crows against an oil-painted canvas.
