In 1996, he graduated from Roger Williams University with a BA in History and Political Science with a minor in Marketing. In 1998, Andrew was given the opportunity to become an officer in the US Army as a 2LT. In 2000, Andrew moved to Dallas, TX and became a member of the Texas Army National Guard 1/112 AR. Following the attacks on September 11, 2001, Andrew was quickly recalled to duty in support of Operation Noble Eagle where he was the XO for DFW airport. In 2004, 1LT/CPT White first deployed to Iraq where he served as the XO for H TRP 1/124 CAV. Andrew White has served overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He is an active member of multiple veteran organizations in the Dallas/ Fort Worth community, including the VFW, American Legion, Military order of World Wars, Navy League, and Dallas Veterans Day Parade. In 2011, Governor Rick Perry made Andrew an Honoree Admiral in the Texas Navy. In December of 2016, he was recognized as a U.S. Congressional Veteran Commendation recipient by then US Congressman Sam Johnson (R, 3rd District of TX) Andrew has made a lifetime commitment of service to his country as a community leader in many community events, such as the Dallas Veterans Day parade where he serves as the Military Liaison. He re-established the Oath of Enlistment ceremonies prior to the start of the parade. In 2012, Andrew led the charge in organizing the "Freedom Road Project" where veterans laid down a Red, White, and Blue stripe on the parade route for the Veterans Day parade.
