Matthew M. Horowitz Contributes on Connecticut Surety Law in ABA Publication

HARTFORD, Conn. - June 6, 2023 - PRLog -- ttorney Matthew M. Horowitz has written the chapter on Connecticut surety law for the recently released publication, The Electronic Payment Bond Deskbook ("Deskbook"). The Deskbook has been published by the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the American Bar Association as an all-electronic guide to federal, state, and U.S.- territory payment bond law. The publication is a hyperlinked, searchable, and portable-document-format (.pdf) volume that is intended to be freely shared and readily accessible to all surety claims professionals. Attorney Horowitz's work on the Connecticut Law chapter drew on his extensive experience in analyzing and litigating payment bond claims for sureties in Connecticut.

Matthew Horowitz has been representing sureties and fidelity carriers in Connecticut and Massachusetts for approximately 30 years. He regularly assists sureties with performance and payment bond disputes and claims arising under probate and other commercial bonds, as well as in salvage and recovery matters.
