By: XPAND K.K. The gallery's smartphone application allows users to enjoy NFT Art as 3D panels, and features an AR mode that can project NFT Art onto real-world surroundings. This technology is showcased in the "Ginza Art Everywhere" project, which encourages users to virtually place NFT Art at landmarks across Tokyo's premium neighborhood, Ginza. The Ginza NFT Gallery will use outdoor digital signages in central Tokyo to exhibit selected NFT Art. Additionally, a physical exhibition in a Ginza gallery is planned for October, exclusively featuring creators whose works have been selected through the open calls. NANMOKU Toworu, founder CXO of XPAND K.K., the main organizer of this endeavor, comments on the popularity of the open calls, "The submissions for Ginza NFT Gallery's open calls are overwhelmingly high. In the past three rounds, we had to close submissions within a day due to the enthusiastic response. Our aim is to elevate the gallery's global reputation, establishing it as a leading entity that connects mobile and physical art spaces. We are looking forward to encountering masterpieces from all over the world, even from the corners of the universe." The submission period is from June 17 to June 20, 2023, with a possibility of early closure due to high demand.
