Alten Construction wraps up first phase of Aspire Berkley Maynard Academy

OAKLAND, Calif. - June 13, 2023 - PRLog -- Alten Construction (https://www.altenconstruction.com/), a full-service San Francisco Bay Area commercial construction company, recently wrapped up the first phase of its six-month Aspire Berkley Maynard Academy (https://aspirepublicschools.org/locations/bay-area/aspire-berkley-maynard-academy/) project.

The commercial construction company launched the first phase of the $7 million project in April of this year with the addition of three new portable classroom buildings to the school's current campus.

The second phase of the project, set to begin this month, includes fire alarm upgrades, site and building accessibility upgrades and a remodel of bathroom facilities.

The project is expected to be complete in fall 2023.

Located at 6200 San Pablo Ave. in Oakland, the school is dedicated to preparing students from kindergarten through eighth grade for college success. The school has a student population of more than 550.

Alten Construction has completed projects for dozens of K-12 and higher educational facilities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including Marin Catholic High School, Castro Valley High School, Elmer Cove Language Academy, Independence High School and Bahia Vista Elementary School, among others.
