Lifetime Montessori School Now Offers a Bilingual Elementary Program

This program aims to enhance problem-solving skills and provide children aged three to six with the opportunity to learn English and Spanish concurrently.

Under the guidance of Kristin Edwards, M.Ed., Director at LMS, the Elementary classroom features two teachers who facilitate learning in both English and Spanish. The Spanish Elementary teacher will instruct students in Spanish, providing language lessons for those who are new to the language and conducting all subject matter in Spanish for those already proficient. Meanwhile, the English teacher will continue teaching in English as usual. As children progress through the bilingual classrooms, the goal is for a growing number of students to become proficient in both English and Spanish.
