LONGMONT, Colo. - June 21, 2023 - PRLog -- Blake Boettcher was recently elected as President of the Associated Collections Agencies of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Blake took office on June 16, 2023. His consistent lobbying efforts and collaboration with other industry leaders protect credit grantors including small businesses, healthcare providers and financial institutions throughout the three-state region against damaging regulations and legislation. He has been a Board Member of the Associated Collection Agencies of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico for five years and served as VP for the 2022-2023 term.

His approach to the position is representative of his near decade of experience. "The term president historically wasn't an honored title; a president was a commoner term for someone who "presided" over a piece of land, a port, a group of neighbors, etc. Our founding fathers knew that the role we needed as a leader in America was not a ruler, it was that of a president. Someone to preside over our developing country. I plan to take a page out of their book and to preside over the association; to exercise guidance and direction and help ensure everyone in the association can continue to run their businesses as successfully as possible," Blake said.

His experience developing and implementing best practices allows "companies that are part of our association to return money back into the economy to ensure that costs stay lower for everyone, and that all of our clients can continue to provide the great products and services they do."

Blake has worked in the collection industry for BC Services for nine years, starting as a Collection Representative and growing into his current position as Director of Collections. In this position, he oversees the collection staff as well as the implementation and adherence to all collection rules and regulations while ensuring an optimal consumer experience. Blake has been credited with a variety of accomplishments, including four years as Collection Manager for a team of 48 collectors that achieved over 20% growth during that period. Blake has achieved the following certifications: ACA Certified Collector, ACA Certified Collection Manager, Certified Healthcare Collector (MDHBA), Certified Blue Prism Automation Developer, and Certified Gamification Coordinator.
