After Swiggy, Zomato & Byju's, IT company Gencosys announces period leave for their women employees

LUCKNOW, India - July 1, 2023 - PRLog -- Gencosys believes in excellent work, and this can only be attained if the employees who work for the firm are physically and psychologically fit. Creativity cannot be anticipated without a clear and cheerful mind.

Thus, we have come up with one day of mensural Leave policy for our female employees.

Our organization has 65% female employees, which suggests that about half of our overall staff base is female. Every month, our female employees go through a painful period, often known as the menstrual cycle. During an internal survey in our organization, we discovered that women employees are taking sick leave due to menstruation and are unable to attend work. Many people asked whether they might be allocated work from home.

And this is a key issue that we intend to address by providing our female employees with one paid menstrual leave every month.

Period leave has long been a contentious issue in the workplace. Because of physical inequalities, males who dominate workplaces inevitably discriminate against and stereotype women. However, to create a secure and inclusive workplace for women, Gencosys has chosen to extend this benefit to its female employees. We think that if we focus on keeping our company culture cheerful and non-toxic, we will never fail in our work.
