The "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program call for entry

NEW YORK - July 12, 2023 - PRLog -- The "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program, organized by China London House (Beijing) International Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., will launch its 3rd call for entries on July 25, 2023. This call is open to filmmakers worldwide.

Selected outstanding films will not only have the opportunity to apply for five film festivals free of charge but also have the chance to:
- Secure overseas distribution.
- Receive financial rewards and scholarships.
- Access screening opportunities and industry networking events, which will be applied to five film festivals by the company free of charge.

The "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program was established with the aim of supporting low-budget films and young filmmakers within its capacity.

In 2021, the first edition of the "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program selected 2 feature films and 4 short films.

"Alice" (directed by Li Lixing)
"Sexual Enlightenment" (directed by Yu Yanqi)
"The Wood" (directed by Lu Huatian)
"Taipei Blues" (directed by Zhang Jingshuai)

In 2022, the second edition of the "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program selected 6 short films.
"Broken Potato" (directed by Shui Yuan)
"From Birth To Birth" (directed by Lin Ruyou, Wang Chen)
"Summer in Pengshan" (directed by Zhang Zeyi)
"Clouds Drifting on the Sea" (directed by Wang Ze)
The film received a cash prize of 10,000 RMB provided by the supporting director, Quan Yintao.
"Relay for Life" (directed by Ren Jie)
"A Weary Sigh" (directed by Fu Yichao)

For the 3rd edition of the "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program，the submission requirements are as follows:
1. No restrictions on theme or genre.
2. Feature films should be over 60 minutes, and short films should be within 20 minutes (including opening and closing credits).
3. Films completed after July 1, 2022.
4. Films should not have been screened outside of China, including film festivals, theaters, online platforms, or television.
5. Deadline: October 15, 2023.

- Selected films will need to participate in 1-2 online/offline salon events organized by " Cream of the Cream," with the presence of the film's key creators.
