HAMPTON, Va. - July 12, 2023 - PRLog -- Amazine Amazon Inc., a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through the arts, is thrilled to announce the renowned actress, writer, and director Tanzania Hughie as the lead instructor for their upcoming Youth Filmmaking Summer Bootcamp. The boot camp will take place from July 17th to 22nd, 2023, and will provide aspiring young filmmakers aged 13-24 with a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and create their own documentary or short film.

Tanzania Hughie, hailing from the Bronx, New York, brings a wealth of talent and experience to the boot camp. Her deep roots in a culturally rich environment have nurtured her passion for the arts since a young age. Tanzania studied Fashion and Design at Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a degree in Film and Television Acting from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

With an impressive career spanning television, commercials, theater, and film, Tanzania Hughie has also made her mark as a writer and director. She made her debut in the industry with the series "Bully: The Rise of Two Kings," created and directed by Alex Hugo. Additionally, she founded Tanzania Hughie Productions, a production company that specializes in coaching, scriptwriting, production, directing, and event management.
Tanzania's dedication to youth development and advocacy is evident in her work. She has devoted over three decades to helping young individuals discover their creative purpose. Her commitment to empowering marginalized voices is showcased through her involvement in documenting The Movement during the height of the pandemic, capturing powerful moments from marches in Rochester, New York, Wisconsin, and New York City.

As the lead instructor for Amazine Amazon Inc.'s Youth Filmmaking Summer Bootcamp, Tanzania Hughie will inspire and guide participants through the entire filmmaking process.
